COVID-19 Information
What is considered a close contact exposure to Covid-19?
A close contact is a person who has been within 6 feet, for 15 minutes or more, of someone who tested positive for COVID-19. Washington State Dept. of Health recommends the CDC guidelines on what to do if you have been in close contact:
-
Stay home for 14 days after your last contact with a person who has COVID-19. 10 days if you have no symptoms or 7 days following a negative test with no symptoms for 7 consecutive days
-
Be alert for symptoms. Watch for fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19.
-
If possible, stay away from others, especially people who are at higher risk for getting very sick from COVID-19.
